Intercell’s manufacturing plant in Livingston, Scotland, is dedicated to the production of the Japanese Encephalitis vaccine. The manufacturing site received commercial Manufacturing License from the British Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in the beginning of 2008.

With major investments in the last years, Intercell now has full in-house GMP-facilities (Good Manufacturing Practices) also for future manufacturing of vaccines currently in the pipeline.
