Hans Wigzell

Hans Wigzell was the President of the Karolinska Institutet 1995-2003 and the Chief Scientific Advisor to the Swedish government 1999-2007 and Professor at the Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. He holds a doctorate in medicine and a doctorate in science from the Karolinska Institutet. 

Hans Wigzell is emeritus at Karolinska Insitutet, Sweden, and is active at the Department of Microbiology, Tumor and Cell Biology. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of the Karolinska Development AB, and a member of the supervisory boards of Raysearch AB, Biovitrum AB, Epixis S.A., Probi AB, and Neodynamics AB.
